A day at Mary’s School House in Valencia, CA includes many circle time activities, but one of the favorites seems to be story time! You’ll see the video at the top is more recent story board which the children really enjoy.

I’m Mary’s husband Pete Gregory and I spend part of each day working from home in our upstairs home office. This morning while grabbing a breakfast snack I noticed Mary reading to the kiddos, and took this quick video. The kids were enjoying listening to Mary’s story so much that I kind of wished I didn’t have to run off to work, and could stay for more.

There are always plenty of structured “circle time” activities taking place during a typical day at Mary’s School House. Some are nice quiet activities like story time, but other activities include singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, and much more. The children really enjoy staying busy with the structured activities and Mary manages to fill their days with learning while having fun at the same time.
